HOW TO SHIP YOUR QUILT

• Use the link above to print the quilting service form. Complete the form (please print clearly) and list any special instructions about your order. You can view my quilting design options at the link above. I frequently add new designs.
• Package your quilt and completed form for shipping. DON'T FORGET THE FORM!
• Shipping a USPS Flat Rate box is usually the most economical method and includes package tracking. I'm not responsible for any damage or loss caused by the postal service.
• I'll notify you by email when I receive your quilt.

• If you need fabric for backing or binding, you can order fabric online at NorthernThreads.Net and choose store pick-up at checkout. Let me know when your order is ready for pickup, and I'll pick it up.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

• Press and square the quilt top - the quilt borders should measure the same size as the quilt’s center for best results. Check both length and width for uniformity. Flared or pinched borders may create puckers or tucks in the finished quilt.
• Clip all thread tails on the quilt front and check for holes or unsewn seams.
• The backing should be 4”-6” larger than the quilt top. If you need to add fabric to the backing to meet the required size, add it asymmetrically. Never sew a frame around the perimeter or include fabric you don’t want to show on the quilt back. We cannot center the backing.
• Batting, if you provide it, should be 6” larger than the quilt top.
• Fold the quilt top, backing, and batting individually. Please don’t layer or baste together.
• If we are binding your quilt, the provided fabric must be selvage to selvage—no lengthwise fabric scraps. Don’t pre-make the binding.
• Choose two general thread colors, and we will pick the best match in that range.
• Please select two preferred quilting designs. We will always try to use your first choice, but sometimes, it may not be optimized for your quilt, so we’ll go with your second choice.
• If we find unsewn seams or similar problems, we’ll make the necessary repairs for up to 15 minutes for $10 without contacting you. If any repairs require more time, we will contact you before proceeding.

PRICING

• Edge to Edge Quilting - $50 Minimum
• Level 1 - Basic Designs -- .016 per sq inch
• Level 2 - Standard Designs -- .020 per sq inch
• Level 3 - Premium Designs -- .025 per per sq inch
• Level 4 - Premium Plus Designs -- .032 per sq inch
• Special request quilting designs are available for a one-time fee.

OTHER SERVICES

• Trim & Bind Complete, Machine stitched front & Backs -- .18 per Inch
• Trim & Bind One Side, Sewn to the front of the quilt only -- .14 per Inch
• Trim Quilt, Trim edges even with quilt tops -- .055 per Inch
• Other Services, Pressing, piecing, repairs, etc. -- $40 per hour
