Alaska Quilters Shop Hop 2026 Featuring True North by Marie Noah

Marie Noah is proud to introduce the Alaska Quilters Shop Hop 2026, showcasing her newest quilt design, True North.

The True North quilt features 16 unique blocks and one coordinating finishing kit. This Shop Hop is designed as a “NO LABOR” program for Alaska quilt shops created to drive traffic to your store and generate strong kit sales with minimal in-store workload.

The 2025 Alaska Shop Hop sold over 6,500 kits, with each participating store averaging 437 kits sold during the four-month event.

Due to fabric availability, this year’s event will begin slightly later in the season. Every effort is being made to avoid the backorder challenges experienced last year. Estimated yardage for the full duration of the event is being secured in advance to ensure a consistent supply.

Event Dates

Shop Hop Event: May 22 – September 8, 2026

Participation is open to independent brick-and-mortar quilt shops that are open regular business hours during the event period (May 23 – September 8, 2026).

Requirement: Participating shops must maintain a website with their exclusive block kit available for online purchase throughout the event.

During the event, shops may sell their exclusive block kits and finishing kits to walk-in customers and by mail order.

Program Details

Block Kits

Each exclusive block kit (made with Hoffman Batiks) includes:

Printed block pattern with the exclusive shop name featured on the cover
Laser-cut appliqué pieces
Hoffman Batik fabrics to complete the block

True North Finishing Kit – Magpie & Fishing

The Magpie & Fishing finishing kit includes:

Finishing pattern -Includes sashing, borders, magpie, and fishing appliques.
Laser-cut appliqué pieces
Fabric to complete the quilt top, including binding

Full Quilt Size: 80" x 94"

Registration

Registration Window: March 2–8, 2026 (or until all blocks are assigned)

Once registration is confirmed, a $375 registration fee is due.

Registration includes:

One completed handmade sample of your assigned block
A printed poster of the completed True North quilt
Digital marketing assets for shop promotion
National advertising through Marie Noah LLC social media and customer email campaigns

Shops keep the handmade block sample.

If blocks remain unclaimed after registration closes, shops may request a second block for an additional $125 fee.

Participating shops agree to:

Sell kits at the listed retail price
Maintain block kit inventory for the duration of the event

Registration Process

Log in to the wholesale section at MarieNoah.net
Navigate to Alaska Shop Hop 2026
Complete the registration form

Select three block preferences
Choose your opening order quantity
Add a shop sample kit if desired (Opening order only.)

Submit the form

Block assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis.

You will receive:

A welcome email
Your official block assignment
A link to pay the registration fee

Payment must be received within 3 days to secure participation and your exclusive block.

Wholesale Order

Opening order minimum: 20 kits
Reorders: Unlimited
Recommended opening order: 100 kit

Orders may be submitted:

Online through the MarieNoah.net wholesale portal

Orders are not charged until they ship.

Shipping Timeline

Block samples, marketing materials, sample kits, and opening kit orders will begin shipping Mid April 2026
Shops may begin taking customer pre-orders
Customer shipping and in-store pickup will begin May 22, 2026

Post-Event Availability

Beginning September 9, 2026, True North individual patterns, block kits, complete quilt kits and pattern set will be available wholesale to all quilt shops.

At that time, pricing will increase to include:

Border and binding fabric in individual block kits
The full paid pattern
